Parents for Future Scotland’s schools air pollution programme harnesses the skills of teachers, so that young people are supported to find solutions to air pollution they can share with their communities to bring about lasting change. Teachers help children explore the effects of air pollution in a safe learning environment and identify actions to combat it. As a parent, you can enhance and support your child’s learning both at school and at home.

  • Knowledge is power! Take part in parent-to-parent talks in your child’s school. Learn all the key facts and figures about air pollution in your city and access resources that help you bring about change in your community and beyond

  • Train as a schools parent speaker – hold warm, safe spaces for other parents to discuss their fears about air pollution, and potential solutions

  • Ask your child’s school to take part in our air pollution programme – use our letter template and email them today
